A 'forced' halt at Hisar, Haryana. The drive from Amritsar to Ajmer (our next scheduled halt) is almost 710 kms. Cudnt do it in one shot. So, broke journey at Hisar. Steel manufacturing city of Haryana. The Jindals have a significant presence here.
330 kms drive from Amritsar along excellent Highways. A1 Dhaba enroute for authentic Dhaba food - Aloo Parathas, Paneer parathas, Pickles & Dahi - Parathas come with a huge blob of 'desi' makhan (butter)!!😅
Lunch at Soul Kitchen, Hisar. Steamed rice with fish curry and dahi! Really missing fish curry😀
Tomorrow, Ajmer.....390 kms from here. The Ajmer Dargah, Mayo College and any other notable landmarks on our list.
